‘IS IT OK?’ is an explorative art-making and creative well-being weekend with Bold Mellon Collective, taking place at Stanley Arts from September 20th- September 22nd, 2024.
We are looking for 5 individuals living and/or working in the Borough of Croydon to participate in dance-movement and image/collage making workshops responding to the theme ‘IS IT OK?’, which will culminate in a public showcase.
This is a PAID opportunity, all 5 individuals will receive £200/each to participate in this 3 day project.
For this opportunity, we welcome:
– LGBTQIA+ individuals
– Individuals living and/or working in the Borough of Croydon
– Individuals who are not in full time education or full time employment, and/or on low-wage positions and/or on Universal Credit/Benefits
We welcome applications from people of all ages and all experience in art, movement, creative participation and practice.
We particularly would love to hear from people who tend to be underrepresented in art participation and practice (e.g. global majority, disabled, neurodiverse)
