Community Supper Social

Community Supper Social

What does freedom look like in our community?
Sometimes it looks like passing the patties, sharing a table with someone new, and leaving with a full heart.

Our Community Supper Social was a free evening of music, dance, spoken word, creative activities and supper — all designed to help people get to know their neighbours.

Hosted by Shaniqua Benjamin with performances from Beeja Dance, Choir on the Hill and Maya Productions.
Food by South Norwood Community Kitchen.
Illustrations by Zoe Parker.
Filmed by Immanent Productions.

This event was part of Stanley Arts’ Our Freedom project, a series of creative gatherings exploring what freedom means to our community.
