Our Visit from the Mayor of Croydon

On Wednesday 3rd of August, we were joined by the Mayor of Croydon, Jason Perry. 

Mayor Jason Perry and Cllr. Andy Stranack had a tour of Stanley Arts to see all the accessible spaces where we hold events and community projects. The tour was led by our Director, Dan Winder & our Chair, Cameron McLeod. Major Jason Perry was pleased to find out more about our rich heritage and more about William Stanley.

Ahead of Croydon being the London Borough of Culture 2023, we were delighted to further explain how Stanley Arts aims to celebrate the borough’s rich artistic heritage, creativity and diversity. We highlighted our strength and resilience as a town that always looks to the future, promoting inclusivity, ensuring no community is left behind!
