Introducing: Applications are open, supporting new and early-career queer performers around Croydon!

We want to support 5 LGBTQIA+ artists in the development of a new idea or work! Introducing, is a commission for early-career queer performance makers / live artists whose work involves dance, movement or physical theatre.

In collaboration with our friends at The Raze Collective, artists will be given money, access to space, one-to-one check-ins, workshops, tailored mentoring, sharing opportunities & peer feedback sessions to develop their new work.

We are looking for bold & exciting new ideas from LGBTQIA+ artists who want to push boundaries in their performance making. Experimenting, exploring, trying new things or alternative ways of making.

We are really keen to hear from artists local to Stanley Arts, who are based or live in Croydon!

The deadline to apply for this commission is Monday 7th November 2022 at 5pm.

Successful applicants could be awarded:

● £750 Artist Fee
● Work-in-progress sharing opportunity at Stanley Arts.
● Final showcase opportunity at Stanley Arts.
● Development Workshops & tailored mentoring.
● One-to-one check-ins with Raze Producers.
● Peer feedback & sharing with other commissioned artists.
● Marketing & network building support.
