Windrush: The Love Story Exhibition Launch

Stanley Arts is relaunching our Windrush Day Exhibition to celebrate Black History Month – join us to celebrate the occasion!
On Monday 22nd June, Stanley Arts commemorate Windrush Day with a community supper social. We opened our doors to our vibrant Croydon community to enjoy performances from artists and creatives responding to and connected with the Windrush Generation, catered by S-Class Kitchen.
Our Windrush Day Exhibition, photographed by Chris Bovell (Blaqpix) commemorates the shared joy of the evening.
Created during her residency following the Windrush Day Supper Social in June 2026, Paula David joins us for our launch night this month to share Windrush: The Love Story, an immersive work which weaves monologue, community interview snippets, and original music to share the lived experiences and legacy of the Windrush Generation.
