We’re swapping and shifting our old loved clothing, for new delights!

Bring a re-usable bag full of your formally loved clothes and pop along to our Swap Shop, led by Fashion Meets Music. Leave the house with the bits you know you won’t wear again, then go home with something snazzy, fun and new to you!

Fashion Meets Music supports emerging creatives providing an end-to-end service through training programmes, mentoring and concession space in concept retail space. They are excited to be delivering a sustainability project for the London Borough of Culture, and part of the programme includes clothes swap shops.

Have you got clothes in your wardrobe gathering dust that are in good condition, but for some reason you are not feeling them anymore? Maybe you brought them by accident and forgot to return them or they are just not your style anymore? Why not bring them to the Reuse. Recycle. event and swap them for items you will actually wear?

Clothes swaps are an opportunity to circulate clothes and accessories with other members of your community and we offer this service for free.

350,000 tonnes, that’s around £140 million worth of used but still wearable clothing goes to landfill in the UK every year and we want to prevent that from happening so bring your clothes along and swap for something new to you. There are lots of ways to be part of the circular economy. Only together can we make a difference.

HOW IT WORKS
Please items of clothing freshly cleaned * and ready to go on the racks. We accept all shapes and sizes including children’s clothing.

This is a community driven swap where we accept items from high street up to high end.

Your items that you bring shall be priced up and this will be your price to then shop from the rails!!! You can buy several pieces to add up to the full value.

WHAT TO BRING
Clean and of good quality.
Free of faults or minor repairs
Something you once valued or will be valued by someone else. Ask yourself – would you give this to a friend?
*No Underwear/Swimwear
All items will be assessed Swap Shop Assistants.
