Summer Family Fun Day

Join us for a fantastic day of events for all the family, featuring a dance class, South Asian arts and crafts and a summer disco that will get everyone up on the dancefloor.

Mini Movers & Their Grown-up Groovers

11 – 11.45am, Stanley Hall

Get moving in this fun, family dance workshop for Mini Movers and Their Grown Up Groovers!

For children aged 12months-5 years and their grown ups. Join us for a session of gentle and joyful movement that lets the little ones learn to love moving to music and gets parents and carers up on their feet too!

Tickets are £5. Children must be accompanied by an adult for the duration of the class. 1 adult is included in the ticket price.
Multiple accompanying adults are welcome to join, an £5 additional accompanying adult ticket must be booked.

South Asian Crafts – Free sessions!

12 – 2pm, the Gallery 

As well as our Family Fun Day offerings, we’ve also got a free, South Asian Crafts activities taking place. No need to book, just drop in!

Bethlem Gallery – Silk clay workshop: Creatures from another world

11am – 12.45pm, The Living Room

In this free workshop we will be using colourful silk clay to make creatures this world has never seen before. Let your imagination run wild!

This workshop is Inspired by artist Sue Morgan’s ‘animal stones’ in Bethlem Gallery’s current exhibition, Elsewhere, on until 9th September 2023. Sue says ‘Fictional entities have been invented who are ridiculously tiny, immortal & whose default mental state is one of happiness. These animal stones grow in size in direct proportion to the happiness quotient on this planet.’
