South Drawood Exhibition
South Drawood is a community art project celebrating the people of SE25.
South Norwood resident Jonny Kemp has been drawing portraits of business owners, community workers, and other movers and shakers of SE25. Elizabeth Walters has been asking them about what they love about living and working in the area.
In a time where South Norwood is changing, we wanted to capture a cross section of our local residents; we’ve discovered people with roots from across the world, doing a huge range of amazing things. They are all united by their love of South Norwood.
Come along to see the portraits, read their stories, and celebrate the diversity of South Norwood.
This exhibition will be launching on Friday 29th July from 7pm-10pm (with a bar!), and will then be open to the public on the weekends of Sat 30th-Sun 31st July, and Sat 6th-Sun 7th August from 10am-4pm.
(Many thanks to We Love SE25 for their generous funding!)
Some merchandise will be available at the exhibition including the portraits, such as tote bags! Prints of the portraits will be available on request.
