SA Sound System: Smiles Collective + jam

SA Sound System are back with another set from neo-soul trio, Smiles Collective!

Smiles Collective are a neo-soul jazz funk fusion band based in London. They have been building their brand over the years, playing at famous London venues like Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club – their signature style of energetic, unrehearsed “moment” music has captured audiences London-wide.

The collective have just released their first single ‘Do Better’, with dynamic soulful lead vocalist Marli Artiste. The single and EP also feature one half of Blue Lab Beats, David Mrakpor, and pianist Mahlon Rhamie.

We’re so excited to continue our monthly jam with a set from this incredible gospel-inspired jazz trio, followed by an open jam which welcomes all instrumentalists, vocalists and musicians.

From Stevie Wonder to Floetry, jazz standards to RnB, there’s something for everyone at this jam – especially if you love the Soulquarians. Don’t be afraid to get up and play with our incredible house band, because this jam is all about collaborating, and all about the music. We can’t wait to see you there – and don’t forget to bring your instruments!
