SA Sound System: Pocket Quartet + jam

SA Sound System are back with another jam, this time with incredible Pocket Quartet!

Formed during their time at Durham University, Pocket Quartet is made up of some of the strongest young musicians in the UK. With a wide musical range encompassing jazz, pop, hip hop, neo soul and funk, they light up dance floors around the country. Members include Matt Jacobs (Tony Kofi’s Generation Monk, NYJO), Tristan Bacon (the Invitations), Zach Fox (Chronotic Brass) and Isaac Merchant (Get Down). Influences include Peter Martin, Gerald Presencer, Jamal, Russell Ferrante, Thundercat, Ari Hoenig, Moonchild and many more.

We’re so excited to continue our monthly jam which welcomes all instrumentalists, vocalists and musicians!

From jazz standards to RnB, there’s something for everyone at this jam. Don’t be afraid to get up and play with our incredible house band, because this jam is all about collaborating, and all about the music. We can’t wait to see you there – and don’t forget to bring your instruments!
