Queer Diary

This venue has step-free access with wheelchair accessible and gender-neutral toilet facilities available.

The night where LGBTQ+ adults read aloud from their REAL teenage diaries, poetry, fanfictions and more!

A handful of brave queer folk take to the mic to re-tell tales from their formative years in the name of nostalgia, solidarity, celebration. Expect a relaxed evening of cringey crushes, earnest angst, GCSE Artwork & a school-disco soundtrack (yes, we’ll be taking requests for your favourite throwback tracks).

If you’d like to share something from your own teenage diaries (or any other writing: poetry, stories, fanfiction, letters) from your youth get in touch by filling in this form: bit.ly/QDTakePart

Queer Diary splits all its profits with a local community youth organisation, supporting LGBTQ+ teenagers to have an easier time than we did.

If cost is a barrier to you attending this event, please let us know as we have some supported places available.

Readers will Audio Describe themselves. BSL & Captioning is not available for this performance.
