Maya Productions presents What Box Do You Tick?

What Box Do You Tick? takes a journey through the subjects of identity and migration.

Performed by members of Croydon’s Anglo-Indian and South Asian community, it shares memories of who we are, opens new paths of thought about our heritage and family, and connects different generations past and present, through music, songs, dance, and film.

Join us on a journey to uncover answers to intriguing questions:
● What is the secret Christmas cake recipe?
● What is the matter with migration?
● And, does migration matter?

What Box Do You Tick? is presented in association with Stanley Arts, It is part of Maya Productions wider Routes to Roots: A South Asian Heritage project that works with South Asian communities in Croydon, Bradford and Sheffield. It is the culmination of a series of creative workshops led by Janet Steel and Rez Kabir.
