Making Music and Family Songwriting Workshop

Book Live Tickets

Ever wanted to learn how to write your own song?

South Norwood has a strong history of musical greats from Samuel Coleridge-Taylor, (who once played in the Stanley Hall) to Stormzy!

In this workshop, we’ll explore different sounds, styles, instruments, melodies and lyrics, getting those creative juices flowing and sharing all the starting points needed in music making – from folk to pop to rap and hip hop.

Inspired by these Norwood greats and with the help of experienced musicians and song-writers, learn how to write your own original songs. Beginners most welcome!

Ages 5-7 (and adults): 10.30am-11:30am

Ages 8 – 11 (and adults) 11:45am-12.45pm

BSL interpreters will be available for both sessions!
