Criminally Untrue

“Full of infectious energy… It’s ridiculous, and it’s ridiculously funny.” (Edfringereview)

Criminally Untrue is a completely improvised true crime documentary, based entirely on your suggestions.

Help these improvisers create the next Tiger King, Fyre Festival or Wild Wild Country… 5 performers make an entirely new documentary, complete with expert interviews, reconstructed evidence footage and courtroom drama, all whilst our improvising technicians provide the stirring soundtrack to help us along.

From alumni of Edinburgh Fringe’s longest running improv troupe, The Improverts and the sell-out, cult-hit The Wonder Jam.

They run the smash hit festival Whitechapel Arts Showcase presenting the best in London’s comedy and cabaret scene. Recent collaborations include with Disentangle Projects (Driving with Eileen), Corn Exchange Newbury (Dream Out Project) and The Point Eastleigh (Mystery Solvers). PillowTalk Theatre is Jonathan Oldfield (winner of the Patricia Routledge Award 2019, Carleton Hobbs Award Finalist in 2019, winner of The Newton Blick Award for Versatility 2019) and Lorna Rose Treen (winner of the BBC Grace Wyndham Trust Award, graduate of Soho Plus Lab, and one of the Raze Collective’s 2021 Raze Your Profile).
