Live music is back in the Yard Bar at Stanley Arts! This is a totally free concert, so no need to book, though we will be circulating a hat during and after the show for you to show your appreciation to the band.
Circus of Bones formed in 2018 as the resident band for a Peaky Blinders themed immersive experience in the Westend. Embodying the characters of 1920s gypsy punks they refined their craft of creating a hedonistic atmosphere and a pulsating dance floor. When the show ran its course, Paul and Eddie kept the band going, dropping the act but hanging on to that raw energy, injecting it into a bunch of original songs and a punchy live show.
COB are constantly exploring their musical capabilities, never content with any one genre, tempo or instrument. They refuse to let any restrictions such as lack of money, lack of a following, lack of ability to play an instrument or even a national lockdown get in the way of their ambitions.
Last year they self-released two singles, A Big No Body and Simone complete with music videos. And March saw the release of their debut EP, Bread n Butter Boy.
Having found a second home in a rehearsal space under the tracks in Bermondsey, the band are now hard at work on their debut album, planned for release come autumn.
The band are chuffed to bits to be returning to Stanley Arts, one of the few genuine hubs that encapsulate the true ethos of music, community.
They’ll be playing a stripped back set of their own tunes tossed with a generous drizzle of custom covers. Find them on all the social things and streaming platforms: Spotify , Soundcloud , Twitter , Facebook , Instagram or visit www.circusofbones.com
