Come one, come all for a night of dancing and merriment just like the good old days! 

Back in 2022, The Conquering Heroes played a ceilidh (traditional dance) in Stanley Hall, and an amazing time was had by all. Now you – yes you! – can join us for such a night once again!

Never heard of a ceilidh? Worried that you won’t know what do to? Think you are a terrible dancer? Have no fear! Our experienced callers will teach you the steps to some of the world’s favourite group and partner dances.

No experience is necessary (but of course experienced dancers always very welcome too). We promise smiles and silliness to a superb live soundtrack all night.
