Beginners Hip Hop Class with BirdGang Ltd’s Kayla “Peacock” Lomas-Kirton

Hip Hop adult beginners’ class led by one of BirdGang Ltd’s lead members and choreographers Kayla Lomas-Kirton. Whether you’re setting foot on the dance floor for the first time, want to brush up on your Hip Hop foundations or simply want to try a new dance style, this class is ideal for anyone looking to boost their confidence, develop their Hip Hop foundations and above all else share good vibes.

Professional dance artist Kayla Lomas-Kirton is highly respected for her versatility, which has led her to become a leading member and choreographer for Birdgang Ltd. Kayla has trained in a multitude of dance styles but specialises in Hip Hop and Waacking. From live theatre, to concerts, to TV, and Film, Kayla’s eclectic career has led her to become not just a performer but also an assistant choreographer, teacher and competition judge. 

Kayla’s main passion is Hip Hop theatre, she has been a Dancer/Dance Captain for many shows including: Zoonation’s – Into the Hoods, Some Like iIt Hip Hop and Mad Hatters Tea Party; Boy Blue’s – Redd and The Five and the Prophecy of Prana; JustUs – Daughter Daughter; Riverdance; Blaze The Dance Sensation.

As well as theatre Kayla has also worked with Artists such as Katy Perry, Dua Lipa, Raye, BeBe Rexa, Emile Sande, Stefflon Don, Rita Ora, Busted, Nile Rogers and Akon.

In 2012, as a member of Boadicea Crew, Kayla was a finalist on Sky 1’s Got To Dance which led to a UK arena tour with Diversity.

Alongside her professional dance career Kayla also has a passion for teaching and working with the new generations of dancers aspiring them to follow their passion too. By leading workshops and teaching classes she hopes she can assist that journey for others and continue to spread the love of dance and performance.
