Walking tour of historic graves in Beckenham Crematorium and Cemetery

Join local historian John Hickman for a walking tour around the historic , St John’s section of Beckenham Crematorium and Cemetery.

Visit the graves of local legends including inventor and philanthropist William F Stanley, William Walker, the diver who saved Winchester Cathedral and toilet humour A lister Thomas Crapper.

This is an outdoor walking tour. Please be prepared for unpredictable weather and wear appropriate footwear as some paths are uneven. We intend to go ahead with the talk unless there are extreme weather conditions. In such an instance where the walk needs to be cancelled, attendees will be contacted.
