Drunken Chorus bring to us A Bit Of A Do 2021, a two-weekend-long festival celebrating inclusivity and accessibility!

Events on Friday 19th include:

A Bit Of A Knees Up: Cabaret Launch Night

Join us for A Bit Of A Knees Up – to celebrate the opening night of A Bit Of A Do 2021!

Every year we kick off our annual festival with a night of cabaret, comedy, music, theatre and dance. Featuring established artists alongside new faces.

This year’s line-up will feature:

Chris Fonseca’s Follow The Sign

Contemporary dance from Hull-based company Tamar & Jo

Music and comedy from Sarah Fisher.

Frank the Drag King

Comedy from Frankie Thompson

This is a cabaret night, featuring several short performances. You will be seated at tables. A compere / host will appear on stage to introduce each of the artists, and to briefly audio describe each performance. There will be an interval half way through the event, when the bar will be serving drinks. At any point during the event you can get up and walk around, use the toilet, go to the bar, or move in and out of the auditorium / theatre.

This event includes British Sign Language interpretation.

Each short performance will be briefly audio described by the compere.

This is a live performance event at Stanley Arts (see Festival Information for directions), but you can also book for the online version and watch the live-stream from home. Please ensure you select the correct ticket type when booking.
