Panto Dame Costume Competition

Our Pantomime Dame Costume Competition is now over, but the final winner is yet to be announced!

Stanley Arts kickstarted the run up to Christmas with our very own costume competition. The process was simple: use our template to draw a design and send it to us via email for your age category before November 5th. We had so many incredible submissions from Croydon College, Metro, Harris Academy, and lots of individuals from all over the Croydon area.

The three different age category winners have now been announced, but the final winner will be announced on December 10th at the Stanley Arts Christmas Lights Switch On!

The dame will walk in wearing the winner’s costume, in front of all of their friends and family – it’s going to be magical.

Congratulations to our three different winners!

Our 5-8 year old winner: Neveah-Sky Cassanova Brown

Our 9-13 years old winner: Oluwafunmilayo Sosanya

Our 14-18 year old winner: Rosa Enver

Prizes: EACH age category winner will receive their four tickets to come to the panto on the day of their choosing! The overall winner’s design will then be transformed into a real life costume to be worn by the dame in the show!!!

Winners Announcement: Friday 10th December

On Friday 10th December, there will be the Stanley Arts Christmas Light Switch On, a Christmas Market with lots of mulled wine, Christmas carol singing, and the three age category winners will be invited along. The pantomime dame will then arrive in the winning costume designed by one of our local young people.

It’s going to be an amazing Christmas Celebration – we can’t wait to see you all there.

If you have any questions about the competition, or any access needs, don’t hesitate to contact evie@stanleyarts.org. We’re so excited to announce the final winner on Dec 10th!

Our template is still available if you’d like to use it: Panto Dame Costume Template
