New Beginnings 2026: Free Rehearsal Space
A new year brings New Beginnings to Stanley Arts. This opportunity encourages artists/creative companies to develop their next creative project: whether that’s R&D, funding applications or simply to rehearse. Stanley Arts are proud to collaborate with Croydonites Festival and welcome applications from local artists interested in connecting with Stanley Arts and Croydonites. Apply today for free space!
The dates fall on weekdays between Monday 5th January and Friday 30th January 2026. You only need to be available for one of the weeks between these dates. Please note, that due to existing regular bookings, we cannot always offer a full week in each space.
Who’s it for?
Any performing arts creative/company. Please tell us as much information about your company and work as possible.
Where is it?
Stanley Arts’ address is 12 South Norwood Hill, SE25 6AB.
Do I need to have something to show at the end of it?
It would be great for the artist to offer a sharing of their work in some capacity at the end of their time at Stanley. It doesn’t need to be a finished product. We encourage you to invite audiences to your sharing, whether for invited guests or open to the public. Please note, this would need to be a free event and no fundraising is permitted. When’s the deadline?
Applications for this opportunity close on Friday 28 November at 5pm
