Summer Season 2025
Summer’s here! Enjoy crafting workshops, live entertainment, powerful performances and family fun.
After what’s been an extraordinary start to summer, we’ve showcased and shared wondrous moments with you! A ceilidh, a giggle at Croydon Comedy Festival 2025 and some wonderful Edinburgh Fringe preview shows. As summer continues at Stanley Arts, we’re keeping spirits high with great entertainment for all ages.
Expect some great shows to grace our Stanley Hall stage over the coming month. Including Spot’s Birthday Party (19th & 20th August), In Pour Taste (25th & 26th September), DRUM (15th October) and returning after a sold out run in 2024, THE ULTIMATE BUBBLE SHOW (28th September).
You can also be sure to witness some great live music. The Undercoverz host Drinks and Jamz (16th August) this August. Enjoy free jazz at Stanley Sessions with the Kitty Whitelaw Trio (22nd August), Drag Under the Stars returns for its sixth year (29th August). Plus, a ceilidh with The Conquering Heroes (12th September), Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club Presents ‘The Ronnie Scott’s Story’ (9th October) and a live performance by Gruff Rhys (16th September,) presented by Eat Your Own Ears.
A new exhibition graces our Gallery Space; Birds of the Borough, (1st-29th September) by local artist and creative, Becca Hoodless. Expect a collection of sustainable paintings showcasing the local wildlife of South Norwood. The exhibition is inspired by her commute around South Norwood Lake over the past eight months.

From a Queer Self-Defence Class (24th August), mosaic-tile-making with The Firing Station (17th August), flamenco classes with Jose Agudo (5 week course starting from 22nd September), or a live event photography class with Rah Petherbridge (26th August & 7th October). If that’s not enough, you’ll find something you’ll love at Stanley Arts Second Chances Flea Market; taking place every last Sunday of the month from Setpember (28th).
We’re delighted to be joined by food writer and food stylist, Liz O’Keefe ahead of The Seasonal Stanley Arts Supper Club (23rd August & 20th September). Plus, this September, Liz will host the first Stanley Arts’ Afternoon Tea (30th August) to celebrate the summer in style!
