What's on this Christmas

Kicking off our Christmas season is Let’s All Dance’s The Nutcracker  (Sat 26 Nov). With the company’s usual fabulous dancing, gorgeous costumes, crystal clear story-telling and sumptuous music, this is the perfect Christmas ballet for the whole family!

Get in the festive spirit with our annual event, Christmas Light Switch On (1 Dec) where we turn on the Christmas lights on our beautiful trees and you can sip on mulled wine as local performers put on a show. You can then browse for the perfect gifts at our Christmas Market (1 & 2 Dec) where we’ll have local traders selling crafts, arts, vintage goods and produce.

You can also bring your children to meet meet Father Christmas at Santa’s Grotto (throughout weekends in December), and get an amazing present made by his elves!

Join DJ Bez at our Festive Family Disco! Dress up and dance the afternoon away! (Sun 3 Dec)

For something a little more dragtastic join us for The Holi-Slay Ball 2023 (Sat 9 Dec). This is guaranteed to the best night out this December, so jingle those bells and hop on that sleigh down to Stanley arts this December!

We also have our Family Cinema Screening of Muppets Christmas Carol and free Muppet Puppet Workshop (Sun 10 Dec)

And finally, we have our unmissable and fabulous pantomime Jack and the Beanstalk starring Mama G and Andy and the Band’s Holly Mallett, suitable for families and adults for a great time out! (Sat 16 – 27 Dec)
